FW Developments is currently one of the UK's largest and most successful motorcycle tuning and performance centres, founded in 1986, by former European and British sidecar champion, Frank Wrathall.
Operating from a modern hi-tech workshop in the Lancashire countryside, the company prides itself on attention to detail and a personal service to cater for the customer's needs.
The FW Developments workshop is divided into separate rooms where each operation can be carried out.
After being delivered for engine modifications, the machine is taken through to the dismantling department, where it can be extracted from the chassis and cleaned up ready for stripping, and then through to the engine workshop.
This is where they are stripped, parts checked for wear and tear and any faults that they might have developed since they were last apart. After the tuning has been carried out, all the engines are re-assembled with new parts and gaskets. Crankshafts are rebuilt and checked for run-out in here. Any new crankcase or gearbox bearings are also fitted.
