Welcome to Bike Bavaria motorcycle tours! We offer unique escorted tours for individuals and small groups to an unspoilt bikers paradise little-known to English-speaking motorcyclists.From our base in the Bavarian Forest in Southern Germany we take you on daily tours on some of the best biking routes in Central Europe, visiting the sights of the Czech Republic as well as venturing into Austria.
As you are flying straight to Munich, where we pick you up with our luxury minibus, you avoid costly wear and tear of your own bike and hundreds of mundane kilometres on the Autobahn. At our base, the farming village of Baernzell, awaits your bike for the week, a 2004 model BMW R 1150 Roadster, equipped with ABS brakes, heated grips (not that we’ll need them!) and lower seat height if needed. It is the ideal machine for the roads ahead.
The twisty mountain roads lead to wooded hills, traditional villages, past castles and rivers and to famous cities such as Salzburg (where the hills are alive…), Passau at the three rivers Regensburg, the medieaval showpiece of Eastern Bavaria and of course the ancient town of Cesky Krumlov, an important world heritage site in the Czech Republic.
Evenings can be spent relaxing in your excellent accommodation, enjoying village life and views, and sampling delicious homemade food at the local inns, together with the famous local beers and of course a Baerwurz, a Schnapps only made in this part of the world. Our minibus will also take you to local beerfests and other evening entertainment.
Other activities, such as canoing, mountainbiking, horseriding, quad-biking, hiking and Nordic Walking can be organised. Or you might take on the locals at the Bavarian version of dry-curling! Many Englishmen have tried and most have failed!
Ride-free days for weary pillions can include any of the above, plus shopping for souvenirs at the local glassworks, forest walks, a visit to the local wellness pool and spa complex or just relaxing with a coffee and homemade apple strudel
