Based here in Inverness, we cater for all Motorcyclists visiting the Highlands of Scotland, either as part of their visit or as a short break to the Highlands of Scotland We will meet you on your arrival here, and escort you to your choice of accommodation. Motorcycle Hire can be arranged for you with as much advance notice and booking as possible Our service provides a pre-booked B & B, Hotel or Guesthouse for 4 or 5 nights and 3 days leisurely touring without rucksacks, panniers, bags and bungee straps etc.
Every day is different, we have no time limits, "it's YOUR holiday" We travel around the Highlands in a different direction every day, often to remote mountain passes, through many Glens, watching for Deer and Eagles in their natural habitat. A visit to a distillery is well worth a free wee dram that you will be given (only a taste) Riding some of the best roads in the UK and Europe returning to your accommodation base every evening, instead of constantly loading and unloading the bike.
Meeting from 2.30 on Monday afternoons (allowing you time to travel here over Saturday and Sunday) We welcome our clients at Tesco's here in Inverness, who have give the use of their facilities. You are then escorted to the accommodation of your choice, to make yourself at home, freshen up, and to settle in. Monday evenings we run out to a restaurant in Drumnadrochit, passing Loch Ness along the way. Here we have our welcoming and a chance to get to know you all, and to discuss the next few days.
We also now offer our clients the chance to cruise Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal either for a few days, whilst your Motorcycles and other equipment will be looked after at the Marina, or as a day trip on the Jacobite Queen Therefore giving the rider a break as well. Should you wish to send us your equipment, clothing etc. through the Postal Services we can have your belongings waiting for you upon your arrival at your chosen accommodation.
Week or long weekend breaks are available at any time and we will try and accommodate all late bookings. Clubs and groups of friends, and individuals are all welcome, with 3-4-5 nights accommodation and 2 or 3 days touring.
We are able to be very flexible on the starting day of your holiday. (Just tell us when and we will do the rest) We offer holidays for groups of friends or clubs, using old Coaching Houses, for your accommodation, en-route and for your journey home. We can help plan your route here, so you know where you are staying, and can plan to suit your own personal requirements and arrive at a time that is good for you, without "where are we staying tonight then?" With Highland Motorcycle Holidays, you have a base to enjoy your holiday from, without carrying your luggage around with you.
