The new StarCom1 universal motorbike communication system from Tecstar Electronics Limited provides a complete solution for high quality entertainment and conversation with a wide range of standard features. It is a State-of-the-art communication system that combines all the features required for Rider to Rider, Rider to Pillion and Sole Rider use, all in one universal solution to meet helmet communication requirements. The system includes an Intercom, with two headsets so you can talk freely to your passenger, an input allowing high quality stereo music from a variety of music sources including CD players, portables and fitted car radios. Built in isolation and music reduction is included. A mobile phone can be connected and normal phone conversations can be held even when travelling at high speed. By adding a mobile radio you can talk Rider to Rider, Bike to Bike up to 2 miles apart. Further equipment with audio interfaces can also be added including Satellite navigation systems. Hi-Tech features include; Auto volume level which automatically adjusts the volume to compensate for background and wind noise. Voice operated transmit (VOX) for mobile radio use, just talk to transmit. VOX mutes the music, simply speak and the music will be silenced, stop talking and the music returns. Noise reduction, incorporating noise reducing microphones and two stages of active noise filtering internally ensures minimal interference and optimum performance. Designed to provide simple hands free communication, plug in Headset1 to turn ON and unplug to turn OFF. The unit can be installed out of sight, for example under the seat or carried as a portable unit. Just plug in the helmet cable and ride. The system is supplied complete with music cable, DC power lead and fitting kit. A number of standard kits are available to make purchase simple and ensures that everything required is included. To upgrade or add additional features means only purchasing an additional cable or accessory for the specific device. The unit is constructed in a strong extruded aluminium case measuring 130 x 80 x 30mm ,weighs 250 grams and is designed to meet the latest European standards.
