John is a Driving Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor and Certified Motorcycle Instructor. He has achieved Grade 6 status, the highest grade for an instructor (only 6.6% of instructors are grade 6, DSA September 2003).
John started up Pro-Scot Driver & Rider Development Ltd in 1996, prior to this he was a Chief Instructor at an Engineering College for 6 years.
As one of Britain’s highest qualified car and motorcycle instructors, a University Graduate and 6 times Scottish Motorcycle Roadrace Champion, the highest standards of training and service are always at the forefront of his mind.
This philosophy is passed onto all members of the Pro-Scot team; they are trained and assessed regularly by John This gives him the confidence of knowing that if you train with Pro-Scot they will not let you down.

Clothing Sales We have a large selection of clothing available for your use. Helmes, gloves, waterproofs etc. all included in the price of tuition.
We use Type A, Gold stamp approved helmets, fitted with "Autocom" communications head set and microphone, for complete 1-1 instruction even from a distance!
